Valerie Isbecque and Josh Brabbs were the Club's special guests at the meeting on 23th April. Josh gave an interesting presentation about the International School's project in Moshi, Tanzania.

The school has various fund raising events during the year to collect money for building materials, then during the summer vacation a group of ISL's students travel to Tanzania for 2-3 weeks to work on the project.

The money collected is used to buy building materials (none is used for travel or support for ISL students or staff) which are then used to construct dormitories, toilet blocks, classrooms, etc for schools in and around Moshi.

While in Tanzania, the ISL students work as labourers on the building site and also teach some lessons so they have some interaction with the local children which is beneficial for both sides.

At the weekends, they go on safari and do some sightseeing. The club are looking at possibility of making a donation to the project.
